Role Overview
We are looking for a dedicated office cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene across our office and warehouse spaces. This role requires someone reliable, proactive, and capable of working both independently and as part of a small team.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a high standard of hygiene in offices, warehouse, canteen, and restrooms
- Develop cleaning routines to ensure all areas are consistently clean
- Keep restrooms and canteen stocked with necessary supplies
- Be available throughout operational hours to address cleaning requirements
- Use correct cleaning products and equipment for each task
- Ensure wet floor signs are visible when cleaning floors
- Assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a cleaning environment
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
- Fluency in Xhosa, Zulu, or Afrikaans is an advantage
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- No criminal record and contactable references
Working Hours
- Six-day work week (45 hours) including Saturdays
- Public holidays will be worked on rotation
