Position Overview
Clicks Sandton City is currently recruiting three Shop Assistant / Cashier team members to join their permanent retail workforce. This role is ideal for energetic individuals who enjoy working with customers, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are passionate about service excellence.
The successful candidates will be responsible for point-of-sale operations, merchandising support, and delivering a welcoming in-store experience that reflects the Clicks brand promise of helping customers “feel good and pay less.”
Key Job Objectives
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Executing all point-of-sale (POS) transactions efficiently and accurately
- Scanning merchandise and collecting payments, including processing ClubCard rewards
- Handling cash safely and in line with company procedures
- Promoting the Clicks ClubCard loyalty programme and enrolling new members
- Informing customers about promotions and special offers
- Delivering friendly, professional, and helpful customer service
- Acting as a brand ambassador for Clicks
- Maintaining merchandising standards and store cleanliness
- Ensuring shelves are stocked and displays are neat and attractive
- Keeping up to date with products, promotions, and store activities
Knowledge Requirements

- Basic mathematical ability for transactions and cash handling
- Understanding of retail/FMCG operations
- Knowledge of merchandising and promotions
- Awareness of stock control procedures
- Strong customer service principles
