Role Overview
We are seeking three dedicated Kitchen Aides to maintain hygiene standards, assist with food preparation, and support smooth kitchen operations. This role is essential in ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment while providing excellent customer service to staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of all kitchen areas, including floors, walls, tables, shelves, pots, pans, dishes, and cutlery
- Rotate across all kitchen areas as needed
- Assist with food preparation and cooking
- Support serving of meals when required
- Adhere to daily schedules, hygiene standards, and health & safety regulations
Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate and a Basic Cooking Course
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a kitchen environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written)
- Flexibility and willingness to work overtime when required
- Proven customer service orientation
- Must be a team player
- Ability to follow strict daily schedules and work under pressure
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of Health and Safety standards
- Understanding of proper cleaning methods
- Good problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills
